During a back massage, the practitioner releases tension from the lower back up to the neck, including the trapezius and shoulders. Movements alternate between fluid effleurage and controlled pressures to warm the muscles, stimulate circulation, and alleviate tension.  

This treatment provides immediate and lasting relaxation for an area frequently stressed in daily life. It helps you regain a natural posture, more fluid mobility, and rebalance your movements.

The treatment begins with long, enveloping strokes from the lower back up to the nape of the neck, which warm the tissues and stimulate circulation. Then the technique becomes more precise. Using circular friction and gliding pressure, the therapist works the back from left to right, gradually moving upward along the spine. They release tension in the lumbar region and the latissimus dorsi, followed by the rhomboids, the serratus posterior, and the middle and lower trapezius muscles—areas where everyday tension tends to accumulate.

Next comes the mobilization of the shoulder girdle. The scapula is released through gentle lifting movements, and the shoulder is guided through wide rotations that loosen the posterior deltoid, the infraspinatus, and the teres minor. The treatment continues toward the cervical region: the upper trapezius, levator scapulae, and splenius muscles, all the way to the suboccipital muscles at the base of the skull, where gentle pressure is applied to relieve tension.

The massage ends as it began, with slow, continuous stroking movements. These allow the body time to fully experience the relaxation and regain a natural, free, and light posture.
